What to Bring:

Warm Clothing-  weather on the river can range from mid-40’s in the morning to the 70’s in the afternoon.  Rain & Sun can be unpredictable and we recommend packing for both warm & dry and cold & wet days. Layering is a must! Example: thermal or underarmour under a long-sleeve shirt, sweatshirt and a jacket, wear a good pair of shoes, your feet will get cold!

you are welcome to bring any beverage you choose, sack lunches are available at local cafes.

 What to Buy: 

Fishing License-       can be purchased at various locations in Soldotna

**King salmon stamps are required and purchased in addition to the Fishing license.

 

What to Expect:
      Itineraries will be mailed when final payment is received.

Kenai River-  Departure will be at 5:30am for river bank departure on one of our power boats that comfortably seats 4 fishermen + guide.  Half-day trips are 5.5 hours, all-day trips are 8-10 hours.
 

Kasilof River- Departure will be between 4:30-6am depending on the tides.  Half-day trips are 5.5 hours, all-day trips are 8-10 hours.

 

Fly-Out- Departure time varies with Alaska West Air (http://alaskawestair.com) in Nikiski, AK, this is a 45 minute drive from Soldotna.  Anticipate 25 minute one-way flight time + 5 hours of fishing.  This is a great day to see wildlife; bear, moose and seal are most commonly witnessed, don’t forget your camera!


Seward- Departure will be at 6:30am from the Seward dock, all Seward trips are 8-10 hours.


Halibut- Departure out of Anchor Point are tide-depending, Halibut charters are 6-8 hours.

 

Fish Processing- 5 & 7 days packages include the processing of one 50lb box of fish, additional and all other processing is $1 per pound.
